Caroline M. Goodbrake, 77, of South Roxana passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020, with her family at her side.
She was born on January 14, 1943, in Alton, IL. She was retired from Terminal Railroad. Caroline was a member of the Meadowbrook 1st Assembly of God. She loved her church and enjoyed, teaching Sunday school. She also enjoyed gardening and had a love for animals especially horses and cats.
She is survived by her mother, Marjorie (Ray) Fredenberg of Bethalto; daughter, Gabriele Goodbrake of East Alton, Kim Lindsey who she loved as a daughter; three brothers, Robert M. Goodbrake Jr., David E. (Janice) Goodbrake and Steven H. (Jackie) of South Roxana and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert M. Goodbrake Sr.
The family will hold a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Meadowbrook 1st Assembly of God.
