Carol J. Huber, 81, passed away unexpectedly at 10:10 am on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton.
She was born on July 15, 1931 in Beatrice, NE, the daughter of George and Nellie Spence.
Carol was a bookkeeper at B & H Auto. Previously she worked for various insurance offices in the area. She enjoyed bowling, going to the casino with her sidekick, JoAnn and swapping books with Jackie. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals, Peyton Manning and Dale Earnhart Sr.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Paul Huber of San Diego, CA, Joe and Julie Huber of Dorsey, Janice Brazier of Bethalto, John Huber of Florida and Steven and Leslie Huber of Wood River; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Vayden, two brothers, Art and Earl and a daughter-in-law, Judy.
There will be no services at her request. Burial will be private at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or the Bethalto Library.
