Carol Helen Pinson, 81, of Benld, IL, died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Breese, IL on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 7:53 am.
She was born July 22, 1940, in Carlinville, IL to Charles Rutherford & Helen Bernice (Bradford) Rutherford. She married Homer Gene Pinson on September 20, 1958, in Alton, IL. He preceded her in death in April 2019. She was the owner of Shaklee Distributors for 40 years. Carol was a former member of the Bell Choir, St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Hamel, and ladies auxiliary American Legion Post 564 of Worden.
She is survived by her children, Michael D. (Kristine) Pinson of Worden, IL, Michelle D. Whitehead of Decatur, IL, Martin D. (Cindy) Pinson of St. Louis, MO, Melissa (Tim) Trame of Breese, IL, grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashton, Wyatt, Jacob, Rachel, Blake, Taylor, Brett, siblings, Sandy (Bob) Brueggeman of Plainview, IL, Charles "Boots" (Bev) Rutherford of Meadowbrook, IL, T. J. (Denise) Rutherford of Carterville, IL, Penny (Clay) Wilson of Bluff City, IL and Curt Rutherford of Benld, IL.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, brother, Carl Rutherford, sisters, Judy Boden and Janice Gunning.
