Carol D. Heilman, 57, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born in Jerseyville on September 10, 1962, she was the daughter of Robert Cordes of Eldred and the late Mary (Kroeschel) Cordes.
She had been the head waitress at Pere Marquette State Park for many years.
On September 20, 1997 in Bunker Hill, she married Gary Heilman. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her father and husband are a son, Cole Heilman of Shipman; daughter, Christina Heilman of Alton; and brothers, Robert (Debbie) Cordes, Todd Cordes and Craig Cordes all of Jerseyville.
A celebration of her life visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Sunday the 1st Baptist Church of Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the family for medical and funeral expenses.
