Carol Jean Blue, nee Blaes, 89, of Belleville, IL, born December 1, 1936, in Belleville, IL, died Friday, October 23, 2026, at Cedar Trails, Freeburg, IL.
Carol was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, Belleville, IL and the VFW Post 1739.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Malinda, nee Jung, Blaes; and four brothers, Fr. Donald Blaes, Dale Blaes, Russell Blaes, and Robert Blaes.
She is survived by six children, R. Duane (Ann) Blue, Julia (Tim) Lee, Dorothy Blue, Sharon (Steven) Voss, Chris (Peggy) Blue, and Paul Blue; seven grandchildren; Robert (Stephanie) Blue, April (Dave) Wyatt, Tim and Patrick (Michelle) Lee, Jeremy (Danielle) Shannon, Sierra “Ellie” and Sabrina Voss; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
