Carmela A. Gaither, 72, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022, at her daughter's residence.
Born in Crawford, MO on December 8, 1949, she was the daughter of Michael and Carmela (Sucasso) Barcelona.
In 1992, she married Joseph Gaither in Alton. He died on January 2, 2018.
Surviving are two sons, Tim Perkins and Steven Stuller both of Alton; two daughters, Carissa (Doug) Eason of Alton, Addie (Carlo) Perkins of Carlinville; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Wendy Osborne of Moro.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Visitation will be held from 10 am until 12 pm, Saturday, March 5 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
