Carlos E Moon, 93, of Kemper and Medora passed away at 3:15 pm on Friday Oct 12, 2018 at Robings Manor Nursing Home. He was born on Dec 26, 1924 in Portageville, MO to Fred & Elizabeth (Strafford) Moon.
He married Edith (Buchanan) Moon on Aug 20, 1945 in Alton. She passed away on Feb 1, 1980
He is survived by a daughter & son in law; Donetta & Harold Pursey of Palmyra and son; Monte Moon of Jerseyville, 5 grandchildren, several great grandchildren & several great great grandchildren.
He worked at the maintenance department of the Alton Boxboard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and daughter; Sheila Miller.
Visitation will be 10-11 am Tues Oct 16, 2018 at Targhetta F H in Brighton
Funeral Services will be 11 am Tues Oct 16, 2018 at Targhetta F H in Brighton with Rev Ray Robinson officiating
Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Bethalto
