Carl Keith McNece, 73, passed away quietly Monday, November 16, 2015 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, surrounded by family and God.
He was born Apr. 3, 1942 in Bernie, Mo. to the late Carl and Wilma (Perry) McNece.
He married the love of his life, Beulah Mae VanMatre on Apr. 15, 1961. She preceded him in death Dec. 4, 1980.
Keith was a longtime member of Teamsters Local #’s 600 and 525. He also belonged to the Masonic Lodge #406, was a longtime member of Wood River Missionary Baptist Church, and was a current member of the First Baptist Church of Roxana.
Surviving their beloved father and grandfather are his son, Steven Keith McNece (wife Shannon) of Godfrey; his daughter, Kimberly Kaye Beck (husband Jason) of Auburn, Ill.; grandchildren Shawn Patrick McNece, Johnathan Michael Thomas Beck, Sydney Paige McNece, and Mackenzie Taylor Beck; and one sister, Helen Wright of Springfield, Mo.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Wendell, Verl, John and Delmar McNece; and four sisters, Norma Bishop, Wanda Dilman, Linda Schulte, and Nina Dennisen.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 21 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 10 a.m. until services begin at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Parkinson’s Disease Research.
