Buford IV

_{Buford R. Clarke IV, 39, passed away at 8:48 a.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2018 at Alton Memorial Hospital.}

_{Born Aug. 6, 1978 in Alton, he was a son of Buford R. Clarke III of Alton and Colette (DePew) Sawyer of Wood River and a stepson of Chad Sawyer of Florida.}

_{He was a lover of the St. Louis Cardinals, music and being outdoors. A true individual with his own style, he was a social person who loved to laugh and spend time with friends. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.}

_{In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Nathan Clarke of Granite City and Tyler Clarke of Alton; a sister, Amanda Menke of Alton; and maternal grandparents Joe and Thelma DePew of Tennessee and Pat and Marvin Brenker of Alton, Bonnie Sawyer of Jerseyville, and Charlene Cole of Florida.}

_{He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Buford R. Clarke, Jr. and Geneva Bernice Clarke, and Donald Sawyer and Bill Cole.}

_{Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 18 at First Baptist Church of Bethalto 201 S. Moreland Rd. Bethalto, IL from 2 p.m. until services begin at 4:30 p.m.} 

_{Private Burial will be Monday, Feb. 19 at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.}
