Bruce Craig Edwards, 34, of Alton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
He was born on January 16, 1988, the son of Jennifer (Edwards) Wallace.
Bruce married Rita Talley on October 1, 2016, in Bethalto. She survives.
He worked for Trident Industries as a Journeyman painter out of Local #58 Union. He enjoyed golfing, riding his motorcycle, and watching the Green Bay Packers.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Rita; mother, Jennifer (Alan) Wallace of Alton; sister Tawny Edwards; brother J.R. Edwards; nieces and nephews, Lilly Edwards, Abel Edwards, James Edwards, Caiden Morgan, and Keenan Edwards; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and Bruce Cobine; sister Mary Edwards; aunt Deanna Petrolay.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.
Memorials may be made to his wife, Rita, to assist with Lilly and Abel’s education.
