Brenda Sue Schneedle, 66, passed away 12:29 pm, Monday, October 8, 2018 at her residence.
Born in Wood River on February 29, 1952, she was the daughter of John and Nellie (Lawrence) Petrokovich.
She had been a waitress at Big Dugga's Truck Stop in Madison.
On August 4, 1981 in Valley Park, MO, she married Emil R. Schneedle. He died in 1989.
Surviving are two brothers, Rick (Rhonda) Petrokovich of Bethalto, John (Caran) Petrokovich of Wood River; sister, Nellie (Randy) Briggeman of Bethalto; companion, Mark Brooks; step-daughters, Linda Woosley of Alton, Cathy Broadwater in Texas; step-sons, Bob Schneedle and Carl Schneedle both of Granite City, Mark Schneedle of Wood River; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews
Her parents and a son, Ivan Petrokovich preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life memorial visitation will be held from 9 am until time of service at 11 am Thursday, October 11 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Pastor Gary Mosimann and Nellie Briggeman will officiate.
Interment will be in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
