Brenda Lee Hawthorne, nee Monken, 65, of Belleville, IL, born August 6, 1960, in Belleville, IL, died Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Agatha Agnes Middendorf-Monken and Lavern Ripplinger; her biological father, Clifford Earl Monken; three sisters, Kim Monken, Judy Westbrook, and Peggy Monken Smith; a brother, Philip Monken; a nephew, Brain Monken II; and a sister-in-law, Terrie Monken.
Surviving are a brother, Brian Monken; two sisters, Louise Lipe and Tina Monken; a niece and two nephews, Sondra (Jeremy) Francis, Matt Monken, and Kevin Wallace; and three great-nieces and three great-nephews, Brandon, Kylie, Sabrina, Liam, Kameron, and Danielle.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 11 to 1 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2025, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
