Brandie L. Gilleland, 42, of Carrollton, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at her residence, with her family by her side.
She was born on April 28, 1981, in Alton, IL, the daughter of Gregory J. Gilleland, Sr. of Jerseyville, and Alice L. (Rexford) of Batchtown.
Brandie worked in the Riverbend and Carrollton areas in home health care. She enjoyed camping, boating, fishing and being on the river. Most of all, she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her children and grandson.
Along with her parents, she is survived by her fiancé, Zach Willis of Carrollton and his daughter, Makayla; a son, Gaige Gilleland and his significant other, Sidney Cordes of Jerseyville; a daughter, Sara Brooks of White Hall; a brother, Greg and Kam Gilleland of Batchtown; her grandson, Carson Gilleland; grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded by Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. The family will hold a celebration of life service at a later date.
