Bonnie L. Carter, 81, passed away 11:12 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2016 at her residence.
Born in Denver , CO on January 7, 1935, she was the daughter of Ralph and Marguerite (Bonnell0 Wilson.
She married Donald E. Carter on June 26, 1955 in Carmi, IL. He died November 15, 1993.
Surviving are two daughters, Charlotte (Scott) Hellemeyer of Rosewood Heights, Joni Hebblethwaite of Bethalto; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister, Judy Ashmore of Country Club Hill, IL.
Her parents; husband; and two sisters, Carol Ryan and Phyllis Taylor preceded in death.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, July 23 at Bethalto Church of God. Rev. Don Arnold will officiate.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the New Horizon Band in Godfrey or St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
