Bobby Lewis “Louie” Hall, age 90, of Collinsville, IL., born September 2, 1934 in Dover, TN, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Louie was retired from Granite City Steel where he was a crane operator for over 40 years. He was a member of Bluffview Baptist Church and he loved to fish and enjoyed trips to Branson with Marlene.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Pearl (Marken) Hall; his first wife, Mary Hall; a son, Jerry Hall; two daughters, Kay Watts and Shirley Morgan; a son-in-law, Jack Williams; a granddaughter, Jennifer Harris; and a granddaughter, Tonia Whitehead.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene (DeBusk) Hall; his son, Richard (Marilyn) Hall; three daughters: Sandy (Dave) Boatwright, Mary Jane Davis, and Debbie Williams; three sons: Mike (Debbie) Chambliss, Steve (Lynn) Chambliss, and David (Sabrina) Chambliss; a sister, Norma (Nacho) Quihuis; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to Noon on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL.
A funeral service will be held beginning at Noon, immediately following the visitation, and will be officiated by Rev. Roger Wright. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Bluffview Baptist Church and will be accepted during the visitation or may be mailed to the funeral home.
