Billie Josephine Corsere, 94, passed away 8:57 a.m., Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Sesser, IL on October 31, 1921, she was the daughter of William "Roscoe" and Gladys (Poston) Stone.
On March 5, 1941 in Perryville, MO, she married Andrew Corsere. He died December 5, 1988.
Surviving are two daughters, Andria (Robert) Williams of Brighton, Kathy (Ronnie) Dunn of Springfield, MO; two granddaughters, Alicia (Mike) Ragusa, Amy Lang; four great grandchildren, Emily and Aaron Ragusa, Andrew and Jenna Lang; and a sister, Rexine Schaefer of Beach Park, IL.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Vernon Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, IL.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
