Beverly Ziegler

Beverly A. Ziegler, 72, passed away September 4, 2025 at her home with her family at her side.

Born September 29, 1952 in Wood River, she was the daughter of LeRoy and Mary Beth (Finn) Kuehnel.

She had worked as a day care aid for many years. Beverly was an avid St. Louis Cardinal basball fan. She truly loved her family.

On April 22, 1978 in Rosewood Heights, she married Earl Ziegler. He survives.

Surviving also are a son, Nathan (Amy) Ziegler of Rosewood Heights; daughter, Christine Gibson of East Alton; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Mike Hard of East Alton; and two brothers, Gregory (Ronna) Kuehnel of Bethalto and David (Linda) Kuehnel of East Alton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tracy hard; and son-in-law, Jeff Gibson.

Cremation rites were accorded.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Visitation will be Thursday, September 11 from 12 pm until time of service at 2 pm at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Rev.Joe Dunnagan will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Foundation.
