Betty Lucille Harmon, 87, of Alton, IL, passed away at 7:32 a.m. Wed. Apr. 29, 2020 at her home.
She was born Feb. 17, 1933 in Elvins, MO to the late Ralph Edward & Lena L. (Huff) Pickett.
On Oct. 12, 1949, she and Kelly Eugene Harmon were married in Pocahontas, AR. He preceded her in death Sept. 27, 2013.
She was a member of the East Alton First Assembly of God.
Betty is survived by 2 sons: Kenneth (Jody) Harmon and Wayne (Pam) Harmon of Alton; 4 grandchildren: Jason Harmon, Leah (Jim) Nietubicz, Miranda Harmon and Bryan Harmon; and 5 great-grandchildren: Alexis Harmon, Aiden Full, Gabby & Gavin Nietubicz and Christian Robertson.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Edward and Bud Pickett; and a sister: Faye King.
Services with burial at Valhalla Memorial Park are private due to the current COVID-19 crowd restrictions.
