Betty Heck

Betty E. Heck, 89, of Gillespie, IL died at her residence on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 10:53 pm.  She was born October 29, 1934, in Gillespie, IL to James Orville Kelly & Celia Dillon Kelly.  She was a homemaker.  Betty enjoyed babysitting, going out to eat and playing cards.  She is survived by her children, John R. (companion, Pamela Maxvill) Heck, Lelia L. Bertolis of Benld, IL, Roberta Haislip of MO, 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, siblings, Joe Kelly of Gillespie, IL, Jim (Karen) Kelly of Benld, IL, Doris Donaldson of Gillespie, IL, Freida Malloy of Carlinville, IL, Marjorie Taylor of Benld, IL, Mary Lou Jubelt of Gillespie, IL.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Jennie Heck, granddaughter, Holly Heck, sibling, John Kelly, Bill Kelly, Junior Kelly, Ellen Clemonds, Arlene Griva, Edna Audi.  Friends may call on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at  Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.  Funeral services are Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie.  Burial will be at Gillespie Cemetery, Gillespie, IL.  Memorials are suggested to Kravanya Funeral Home.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.
