Betty H. Ralston, 72, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born July 18, 1943 in Sikeston, MO, she was a daughter of Daniel and Nettie H. (Peters) Hardesty.
She married Floyd E. Ralston Nov. 16, 1963 in East Alton. He passed away July 21, 2010.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie and Glenn McMahon of East Alton, son Darren Ralston of Tucson, Ariz., stepsons Darrell Ralston and Donna of Fieldon, Herb and Kathy Ralston of Bunker Hill, stepdaughter Sandra Ralston of Oklahoma, and son Dana Grindstaff of Alton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her dear friend Richard Knoche.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two stepsons, Jeffrey and Dennis Ralston; and a daughter, Sherrie Grindstaff.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 16 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 11 a.m. until services begin at 1:30 p.m.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to Toys for Tots, which was an organization that was very dear to her heart.
