JERSEYVILLE-  Betty E. Price, 86, died at 9:15 p.m., Monday, July 15, 2013 at the Jerseyville Estates where she has been a resident for the last two years.She was born in Scottsville, Kentucky on Sept. 29, 1926. one of four children born to the late Andrew & Viola (Graves) Frost.She married Amos Bernard "Bernie" pRICEon July 19, 1941 in Carmi, Il., and together they were the parents of two sons, and shared 38 years together before his death in 1979.Bernie & Betty spent a majority of their married life in the Bethalto area, and attended the Cottage Hills Assembly of God Church.Surviving are a son & daughter in law, Richard & Jill Price of Dow; a daughter in law, Shirley Price of Bethalto; three grandchildren, Chad Price, and his wife, Robin Goheen of Dow, Aine Howard of Bethalto, and Jason Price, and his wife, Patti of Jerseyville; six great grandchildren, Andrew Price, Anna Price, Cory Howard, Caeleb Howard, Kyndal Price and Karson Price; a great great granddaughter, Sophia Dixon; and a sister & brother in law, Jean & Joe McReynolds of Scottsville, Ky.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Eldon Price on Dec. 23, 2005; two grandsons, Kevin Price on May 22, 1981 and Eric Price on July 19, 1987; and two brothers, William Frost & Mack Frost.Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.., Thursday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday.  Rev. Brent Myer will officiate.Burial will be in the Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.Memorials may be given to the Jerseyville Estates Entertainment Fund.
