Benjamin Franklin Dixon, 70, of Benld, IL, died at his residence on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 12:06 pm.
He was born July 26, 1951, in Saint Louis, MO to William Dixon & Jenny Carroll Dixon Wilson. He married Cindy Dixon. He was a truck driver and had worked at Diamond Meat Packing in Carlinville. He was a veteran of the US Army after having served in Vietnam. Benjamin was a knife collector.
He is survived by his children, Terrie Holmes of Gillespie, IL, Elisabeth Dixon of Litchfield, IL, Cindy Wallace of Litchfield, IL, stepchildren, Travis Pryor, Christopher Pryor, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, siblings, John Wilson, Marie Balderson, Pam Boutwell, and Sherry Teague.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents and spouse.
