Belinda Jo Douglas, 66, passed away on July 21, 2026 at St. Anthony’s Hospital surrounded by her family.
Belinda was born on November 1, 1959 in Alton, IL to Marvin and JoAnn (Kirkpatrick) Rahn.
She married Dave Douglas on July 25, 2013 in Edwardsville, IL.
Belinda taught phlebotomy at Sanford Brown, then became a registered nurse. She was an extraordinary medical assistant and registered nurse and enjoyed serving others very much throughout her career at, OSF St. Anthony’s, Gateway Regional Medical Center, and Alton Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed knitting, bicycling, material arts, and home decorations, and crafting . She also attended First United Methodist of Godfrey, IL.. Belinda had long ago accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and savior.
She is survived by her husband, Dave; children, Jamie Minner of Bethalto, IL, Jeniffer Ulrich of East Alton, IL, and Jarad Baker (Veronica) of Texas; 8 grandchildren, Jayden Ulrich, Adrianna Ulrich, Evan Baker, Taylor Minner, Mackenzie Minner, Kaylee Baker, Kaleb Baker, and Kannin Baker; 2 great-grandchildren, Waylon, and Dolly; and siblings, Dana Kirkpatrick, Jim Rahn, and Jada Rahn.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and son-in-law, Brandon Ulrich.
Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home are assisting with arrangements.
