Barbara Kay Stilts, 83, of Bethalto passed away Sunday March 10, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. She was born July 1, 1940 in Alton to Robert and Helen Ilene (Smith) Harris. She married Leeman C. Stilts August 19, 1957; he preceded her in death April 28, 1976.
Barbara loved taking care of her dog Brewster. She also, looked forward to planting her flowers in the springtime. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Rams. Spending time with her family and going to girls luncheon brought her great happiness.
She is survived by four children, Diana Stoops of Grafton, Kevin Stilts of Wood River, Michele Blevins of Bethalto and Becki (Dave) Wendle of Alton; nine grandchildren, Larry, Bradley, Stefanie, Kailyn, Kevin Jr, Keri, Nick and Nathan; nineteen great grandchildren and a sister, Vicki (Les) Graham of Rosewood Heights.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two grandsons, Brian and Kyle Stilts; son in law, Keith Stoops; infant daughter and a fur baby, Toby.
