Barbara Leigh Turner, 83, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born June 5, 1940, in Alton, she was the daughter of Rev. Delbert and Fern (Mason) Wickstrom.
She had been a technician at Alton Memorial Hospital for 14 years and Christian Hospital Northeast for 3 years before retiring.
She married Paul Richard Turner on January 31, 1960, in Jeffersonville, IN. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Stephen Turner and Christopher Turner; a daughter, Brenda Patterson; and brother, Dwayne Wickstrom.
Private service and burial were held at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River in charge of arrangements.
