Barbara Ann Jacobus, nee Rhein, 88, of Belleville, IL, born Wednesday, March 9, 1938, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at La Bella of Freeburg, IL.

Barbara worked as a Secretary for Dr. Randall Benson’s General Practice. She was a member of Cathedral of St. Peter in Belleville, IL, Granite City Stockyard Club Girls, SIU-E Alumni Association and volunteered at the Pregnancy Care Center in Belleville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her:

Visitation: Visitation from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Cathedral of St. Peter at 200 W. Harrison St. in Belleville, IL.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Cathedral of St. Peter, with Bishop Godfrey officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery-Fairview Heights, IL.
