Hoaglin, age 70, of Alton, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016, at her home with her family by her side.She was born August 9, 1945, in Alton, the daughter of Leonard and Violet (Bell) Savage. She married Irvin C. Hoaglin on May 7, 1965 in Alton. He preceded her in death on June 10, 2009.Barbara enjoyed bingo, dancing, and going out to eat. She loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed.She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Melissa Welte of Alton, Tera Hoaglin of E. Alton, and Autumn and Nicholas Greenberg of Alton; five sisters; one brother; three grandchildren, Crystal and Anthony Stephany of Alton, Shanna Gleason of Alton, and Layla Hoaglin of Alton; seven great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at 11:00 am at Upper Alton Cemetery.Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com or www.facebook.com/eliaskallalandschaaf.
