Baker Neal Gillingham went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 10, 2025. He was born October 2, 2025, in Alton, to Luke and Maddie (Nichols) Gillingham.
Surviving are his parents, his maternal grandparents, Eric Nichols and Kathryn Nichols, his paternal grandparents, Richard and Rebecca Gillingham, his maternal great-grandparents, Ruth Holtmann and John Nichols, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents Orville Holtmann and Pat Nichols, and paternal great-grandparents Neal and Pat Gillingham, and Tom and Katie Carmody.
Baker made a profound impact on everyone who knew him. In his brief time with us, he touched countless lives and was deeply loved by all. His courage, bravery, and resilience were evident, even in his short life. Through his presence, he showed us God’s love and the eternal hope of Heaven that awaits us all. Some of his greatest joys were being held by his parents, having books read to him, and listening to songs sung by loved ones.
A visitation will be held Friday, November 14 from 4-7pm at First Baptist Church north of Greenfield. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 15, at 10 am, at the church. A private family burial will follow at Oak Wood Cemetery north of Greenfield.
