Autumn Owens

Autumn Nichole Owens, went to Heaven at her home on March 13, 2024, at the age of 16. Autumn was born on August 31, 2007 in Alton.  She is survived by her beloved mother and father, William and Lindsey Owens, and her brothers, Wyatt and Elliott Owens. Autumn and her brothers were your typical siblings, sometimes it was hard to tell if they liked each other or not, but if anybody said anything negative about her brothers, she would be the first to stand up for them. Autumn was a Junior at East Alton-Wood River Community High School where she had a love for art and making people smile and laugh and was a member of the Oilers' bowling team.Autumn had aspirations of doing art, photography, barber, and flight attendant so she could see the world. She was looking forward to going away to college after she graduated so she could experience college life and the first step of becoming an adult.Autumn's greatest love was hanging out with her friends and being a wild teenager. She loved going to the movies, riding around with friends listening to music, and playing video games. When Autumn loved someone, she truly and deeply loved them.In celebration of Autumn's life, visitation will be at Cornerstone Church, 196 South Moreland Road in Bethalto from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, March 22, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor David Fields officiating.Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.Memorials may be made to the Owens family.
