Audrey Rose Eggebrecht, 89, of East Alton passed away Saturday, January 17, 2021 with her family at her side. She was born August 21, 1931 in Bath, IL to Ernest Martin and Helen Jane (Morgan) Fletcher.
She married Richard "Dick" Eggebrecht November 4, 1950 in Havana, IL; he preceded her in death June 8, 2012.
Audrey was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Rosewood Heights; it is now called Rosewood Heights Community Church, where she sang in the choir, and was a member of the Christian Women's Club, which she helped found and was Deaconess
She is survived by a son, and daughter in law, Ross and Debbie Eggebrecht of Fieldon, IL; a daughter and son in law, Linda and Tom Vogt of Rosewood Heights and step daughter and her husband Rona and Steve Walling of AL; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, a brother, James Eugene Fletcher of Plainfield and a sister, Edith Geraldine Luttrell of Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Richard Eggebrecht; brothers, Howard, Harold, Robert and Danny Fletcher and sisters, Mary Wanda Tarvin, Donelda Walton and Dixie Lashbrooke.
Due to the Covid 19 restrictions private services will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
