Artie Henry Voyles, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 8:40 pm at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon.
He was born on October 17, 1939, in Alton, IL, the son of Henry E. and Fern (Bennett) Voyles. He married Lois C. Dale on August 3, 1964 at the Bethalto Assembly of God.
Along with his wife, survivors include his children, Artie Kevin Voyles of Bethalto, Margie (Chris) Wilson of East Alton, Stacie (Paul) Colclasure of Bethalto and an adopted daughter, Beverly Antrobus; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a sister, Florence Moore of Yorkville, IL; and a brother, Walter (Rochelle) Voyles of Bullhead City, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Marion Lee Voyles and Thomas Edward Voyles.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 3 pm, at Cornerstone Church in Bethalto. Pastor Eric Scottberg will officiate. Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
