Arlene Reeder, 80, of Carlinville, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Carlinville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
She was born on October 2, 1945, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Loretta (Carr) Hart.
Arlene married Don Reeder on June 11, 1994, in Boulder, CO. He survives.
Arlene is survived by her husband, Don; two sons, John (Sonya) Metcalfe of Alton and Randy (Jen) Metcalfe of Chesterfield; two grandchildren Lauren (Tommy) Govero and Clayton Metcalfe; one great granddaughter Gwenmira Govero; sister Linda Hamilton; several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Loretta; brother Lyndel Hart; brother in law John Hamilton; two infant sons.
A private family burial will be held at Medora Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family or Susan G. Komen Foundation.
