Antone Brooks

Antone (Tony) Brooks was born on November 6th, 1956 in Alton, Illinois to the late Ida Mae Brooks (Lee) and Rainey Brooks. He lived in Alton, Illinois throughout the majority of his life. He spent a short time in the Navy before becoming a mortgage loan officer. Antone received the miracle of a liver transplant in 2001, lasting longer than the doctors expected, giving him a new outlook on life. He later spent most of his time doing what he loved, working on cars. He enjoyed making people smile with corny jokes and would help anyone who was in need. Many people looked to him for words of wisdom and was deemed a breath of fresh air to many. On Tuesday, December 8th, 2020, Antone recieved his eternal rest. He was blessed with 64 years on this earth. He leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Trina (Thomas) Harrison, Candice (Jeremy) Clemons, Brittni (Alonzo) Abeyta, Christina Brooks. One sister: Sheilar Smith (Brooks). Eleven grand children, Michael Harris, Jeremy Clemons Jr., Tyler Clemons, Zachary Clemons, Madeleine Clemons, Lorraine Clemons, Elijah Clemons, Skyler Brooks, Daniel Clemons, Penelope Clemons, Noah Clemons. His niece: Brandi (Willie) Brooks-Jenkins, and great nephew: Tanner Brooks.
