Anthony “Tony” F. Broyles, aka “The Rooster”, 65, of Bunker Hill, IL, passed away at 8:29 p.m. Sun. May 17, 2026 at his home.
He was born May 29, 1960 in Granite City, IL to the late Edward E. and Concetta (Finazzo) Broyles.
On July 15, 2011, he married Tina Marie LaRussa in Carlinville, IL. She survives.
Tony managed Ravanelli’s for many years and was later a machine operator for Tower Automotive. He loved to hunt and fish and be outdoors. He was very personable and always the life of the party and a prankster. He enjoyed spending time at Lake Kaho, the Italian American Club and loved playing bocce ball. More than anything he loved his kids and grandkids.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 8 children, Anthony II Broyles, Terra Broyles, Amanda Broyles, Nick Broyles, Jessica McCollum, Daris Brown, Jared McCollum and Drew McCollum. 20 grandchildren and 6 great-grandsons. Sisters, Patricia Broyles-Headrick and Pamela Broyles-Pool, also many cherished in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by sisters, Rosalie Broyles Bronnbauer-Atwater and Denise Broyles-Miller, a brother, Edward L. Broyles and a beloved sister-in-law, Paula Quinn.
