Annetta Vickery

Annetta L Vickery, 77, of Brighton passed away at 2:20 pm on Wed Nov 15, 2017 at Robings Manor Nursing Home in Brighton. She was born on June 28, 1940 in Jacksonville, IL to Byron G & Frances (Coates) Piper.

She married Louis Edward Vickery who passed away June 8, 1987.She received a BS in Elementary Education from SIU Carbondale in 1962. She received a MRE Masters in Religious Education from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY in 1971 and later went back and got MSLBD in Special Education at ISUShe is survived by brothers and sisters in laws: Richard & Linda Piper of Brighton, Sam & Chris Piper of Brighton, Marcus & Barbara Piper of Granite City and Bill & Linda Piper of Katy TX.She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter; Mary Lynn Vickery, brother; Byron M Piper and her parents.  Following cremation a memorial visitation will begin at 10 am on Sat Dec 2, 2017 with a memorial service beginning 11 am at the Bethlehem Baptist Church rural Shipman with Rev Ray Robinson officiating.        Burial will be in Shipman Cemetery  Memorial may be made to Robings Manor activity fund.
