Anne V. Yeck, 88, passed away at 9:05 p.m., Monday, September 12, 2016 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of William F. Yeck, who preceded her in death on October 23, 2012.
She was born in Alton, IL on November 29, 1927 the daughter of the late Leo and Catherine (Pinta) Ventimiglia.
She was a graduate of Marquette Catholic High School, Hickey College, and attended Lewis and Clark Community College. She was an Administrative Assistant at the former McDonnell Douglas Corporation.
She was an avid reader and attended many sports events with her late husband. She was always surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Edie Ventimiglia; her sister, Paula K. Muehling; nieces and nephews, Leonard and Michael Ventimiglia, John Muehling, Deborah Gent, Paul Muehling, Patricia and her husband Bob Sims, Carol and her husband Tom Gillard; great nieces and nephews, Timothy Gent Jr, Christopher and Alex Gent, Ashley Paris, Jeremy Muehling; great-great nephew, Avery Hudson Paris and many cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Kay Long and Jo Kay Butkovich.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton.
Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Church, Marquette Catholic High School, or please do a good deed for someone.
