Annabelle A. Howard, 76, passed away at 7:50 pm on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on September 22, 1936 in Golden Eagle, IL, the daughter of Leonard and Agnes (Fortschneider) Kamp.
She married James F. Howard at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in 1956. He passed away on June 19, 2008.
Annabelle was a homemaker. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed golfing and football.
She is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael Howard of East Alton, Kenneth Scott Howard of Godfrey, Jeffrey & Lori Howard of Edwardsville and Tim and Carol Howard of Bethalto; five grandchildren, Tonya Deutsch, James Howard, Casey Howard, Whitney Howard, and Thomas “Tommy” Howard; eight great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Kathy Kamp; two sisters-in-law, Jackie Kamp and Erma Kamp and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles and Delores Kamp, Ed Kamp and Rich Kamp
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with a prayer service at 4:30 pm. A funeral Mass will be at 10 am Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Wood River with Father James Flach as celebrant.
Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens Bethalto.
