Anna Woods

Anna Lee (Palmer) Woods, 80, passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2026.

Anna Lee was born in Canton, Illinois, to William and Mary (Blickenstaff) Palmer. She graduated from VIT High School in 1964. In 1967, Anna Lee married the love of her life, Richard Woods, at Woodland Church of the Brethren in Astoria, Illinois.

She is survived by her husband Richard and their two children; Susan (Woods) Warchol and Tim of Greenville, IL. and Wayne Woods and Christine of Greenville IL. Her grandchildren: Alexandra Warchol and Tia, Andrew Warchol and Claire, Nicholas Warchol, Lilianna Warchol, Sophia Warchol, Jack Woods, Rachel Woods, Mary Woods, and Sarah Woods.

Anna Lee is also survived by her siblings, Joe Henry, and Lois of Vermont, Illinois, and Charlie Bill, and Mary Palmer of Rushville, Illinois.

Anna Lee was a devoted member of Copper Creek CC in Maryville. She was dedicated to her family and took great pride in her family business. She loved traveling and enjoyed the experiences, laughter, and memories that came from exploring new places.

Anna also had a personality that no one who knew her could forget. She was sassy, ornery, and full of spirit, and she always knew how to make people laugh. She will be dearly missed.

According to her wishes, a private ceremony was held at Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville.
