Angela Marie Terrell, 48, died at 6:41 p.m., Saturday, February 24, 2024 at White Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Jerseyville, Illinois on June 12, 1975, and was the daughter of the late William B. and Bonnie Lucille (Main) Terrell.
Angela grew up in Grafton, until moving to Shipman when she was in high school.
At the age of 16, she suffered a debilitating head injury as a result of an automobile accident, and she has spent the rest of her life bravely fighting to make her life as best as she could. In spite of her injuries, she was still able to graduate and walk across the stage to receive her diploma from Southwestern High School in Piasa.
She was a lover of cats and enjoyed puzzle books, game shows, and dice.
Surviving are a brother and sister in-law, Jeffrey A. and Sandy Main of Barry, Illinois; a sister and brother in-law, Sherry and Nelson Wrestler of Salem, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and her lifelong best friend, who constantly remained loyal to her, Jamie Bornes and her family of Brighton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Krista Marie Wrestler; and a great nephew, Austin Morse.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12 noon on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Frank DeWitt will officiate.
Burial will be in Scenic Hill Cemetery in Grafton.
Memorials may be given to Riverbend Humane Society in Jerseyville.
