Andrew Michael Staszkiewicz, 25, passed away 1:59 a.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis.
Born in Alton on July 2, 1992, he was the son of Casandra "Cassie" (Williams), her husband, Mark Lindow of Collinsville and Anthony Staszkiewicz, his wife, Shona of Wood River.
Andrew was a history enthusiast, enjoyed 'anime' and 'marvel comics' as well as comic cons.
In addition to his parents surviving are maternal grandmother, Janice Karrick (Gary Caldwell) of Wood River; brother, Devin Statszkiewicz of Wood River; sister, Nicole Staszkiewicz of Godfrey; and his beloved cat, "Artemus".
Preceding in death were his maternal grandfather, Sammi Williams; paternal grandparents, Daniel and Patricia Guiney.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Monday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Graveside service and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of expenses.
