Dateline: AltonAndrew Cody Pope, age 21, of East Alton , passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Alton Memorial Hospital.He was born September 27, 1994, in Alton, the son of Joseph Pope and Linda F. (Medley Pope. Cody loved riding scooters and skateboards, and especially hanging with his friends.Cody is survived by his parents, Joseph “Joe” Pope of Schiller Park, IL and Linda F. Pope of E. Alton; a sister and her husband, Candice and William Rork of Loveland, CO; two nieces, Audrey and Myer Rork; and many other relatives and friends.He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobby and Ruby Jo McClain and Paul and Betty (Neece) Pope.Visitation will be held Sunday February 14, 2016, from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 5:00 pm at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton.A private family burial will take place at a later date.Staten-Fine Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Online condolences and a guestbook may be found at www.staten-fine.com or www.facebook.com/eliaskallalandschaaf.
