Amy Elaine Beatty, 46, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at her home on Monday, April 1, 2024. She was born May 10, 1977, in Granite City, Illinois, a daughter of the late Robert Eugene and Charlotte Mae (Hallows) Boyles. Amy had served many dedicated years in banking and had worked for First Mid, Scott and GCS Credit Unions in the area. She had also worked as a nail tech and enjoyed her spa days getting her hair and nails taken care of.
She had a love for shopping and enjoyed days of motorcycle riding. She cherished being with her friends and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her boys. She also loved her dogs, Monkey and Braxton and her late, Muffin. She is survived and will dearly be missed by her sons, Ethan Clayton Beatty and Isaac Mathew Beatty, both of Granite City; other extended family and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Clayton Benton Beatty.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Monday, April 8, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Alan Beuster officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.
