Aldene Leonard, 103, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 10:30 am, at Willow Rose Nursing Home in Jerseyville, IL.
She was born on January 11, 1915, in Arvada, CO, the daughter of Fred and Pansy (Grable) Graf, both preceded her in death. Aldene married Clyde Leonard on March 29, 1933 in Walden, CO. He preceded her in death in November of 1992.
She enjoyed making afghans and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by three children and their spouses, Thomas (Irma) Leonard of Naples, FL, Joanne Paben of San Raefel, CA, and James (Beverly) Leonard of Bethalto; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL. Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto is in charge of arrangements.
