Albert Augustson

Winter Springs, FLAlbert E. Augustson, 92, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017, under the care of Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, FL.He was born September 25, 1924, in St. Paul Park, Minnesota.Albert was a Navy Veteran of WWII.His wife, Virginia Sims preceded him in death. Albert worked for East Junior High in Alton, as both a teacher and counselor for 30 years prior to his retirement in 1989. He was a member of the Meadowbrook Church of God.Survivors include three children and their spouses, Brenda and Jerry Smith of Winter Springs, FL, Brent Augustson of Wood River, Beth and J. Brown of Springfield, OR.Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at the funeral home.An online condolence and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com.
