Alan K. Williamson, 63, of Bethalto, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was born on April 8, 1962, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Brady D. Williamson and Bonnie J. Hart.
Alan dedicated 40 years of service as the Lead Power Plant Operator at Alton Memorial Hospital. He took great pride in his work and built lasting friendships with his coworkers, often known for joking around and keeping spirits light. Alan enjoyed watching old television shows and had a special love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Tori (Corey) McKee of Godfrey, Chelsea Williamson of Bethalto, and Chase (Jenny) Williamson of Rosewood Heights; His former wife, Lori Burnett, with whom he shared many years and three children; his brother-in-law, Brad Crider of Washington, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Rhett, Tripp, Knox, Carolina, Murphy, and Finn, with another grandchild on the way.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy Crider; and two brothers, Steve Williamson and Dean Williamson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Terry McKinzie officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park.
