Died: passed away at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born: March 18, 1928 in Arcadia, Mo. to Lawrence and Carrie (Hogan) Sutton.
Married: James Freeman June 29, 1943 in Ironton, Mo. He preceded her in death.
Occupation: was a housekeeper for Wood River Township Hospital for 15 years, retiring in
Survivors: She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Carl Allen of Houston, Tex.; two sons and three daughters-in-law, Gary and Debra Freeman of Bethalto, David and Sharon Freeman of Valdese, N.C., and Kiyoko Freeman of Georgia; 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and a sister, Dorothy Vitale of Alton.
Preceded by: her parents; husband; a son, James Freeman; and a brother, John Sutton.
Visitation: 4-7 p.m. Friday at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights, and will continue Saturday at the Bethalto Church of God from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m.
