JERSEYVILLE – Adam Ryan Gardner, 32, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 5, 2017 at his home in Jerseyville.
He was born on September 4, 1984 in Elwood City, PA, one of two sons born to Albert & Brenda (Ryan) Gardner.
Adam spent the majority of his childhood and adult life in Jerseyville attending Jerseyville Schools and graduating from Gateway Christian School in Memphis, TN.
He was the true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time outdoors looking for arrowheads. It was his love for the outdoors and working with his hands that led him to pursue a career in the Construction Industry where he worked for various companies for several years overseeing the construction of countless homes throughout the area.
He is survived by his parents, Albert Gardner of Volant, PA and Brenda Gardner of Jerseyville; a brother, Andrew “Andy” Gardner of Grafton; his grandmothers, Ilene Gardner of Wampum, PA and Donna Pickett of Jerseyville; as well as many aunts, uncles and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Chester Gardner and Tom Ryan; as well as his step-grandfather, Ralph Pickett.
No services are scheduled.
