Adam Ridings

Adam Benjamin Ridings, age 47 of Greenville, passed away February 11, 2026, at St. Elizebath Hospital in Shiloh, Illinois.

Born June 20, 1978, son of the late Richard "Rick” Ridings and Barb Davis Ridings of Greenville. Adam Grew up in Greenville, attended the local schools, and graduated from Greenville High School with the Class of 1997.

He worked numerous jobs throughout his life. Adam’s last job was with Kemper Lawn Service and Snow Removal.

Surviving are his grandmother Majorie Ridings, mother Barb Davis Ridings, brother Richard “Richie” Ridings, sister Kayla (Bob Stief) Ridings, niece Hannah Stief, and host of family and friends including aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his father, Richard “Rick” Ridings, grandparents: James T. Ridings, Lloyd “Bud and Joyce Davis, and Marilyn and Harry Smith.

A blood drive to honor Adam will be held Friday, March 27, at the Greenville Firehouse from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life and lunch will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Patriot’s Park following a graveside service at Mt. Nebo Cemetery on Saturday.
