Abigail Louise Renner passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving parents, Nate and Rachel Renner, on September 18th, 2026, at Barnes Jewish Hospital. Her family is forever changed and forever grateful to have spent this brief, but incredibly meaningful, time with Abigail.
Her presence and light will be missed, but a peace beyond understanding gives her family comfort. They trust that she now rests in the arms of Jesus and have hope to be reunited again one day in a perfect, eternal life.
Just 12 weeks into her pregnancy, when her parents learned of the uphill battle against an extra 13th chromosome which Abigail was fighting, she had already surpassed many odds. Her family was grateful to spend a total of 29 weeks of pregnancy with her and to have felt her sweet flutters and kicks as she grew. Abigail’s systems from head to toe were stitched together by God with unique challenges that ultimately made her heart grow weary. Many miraculous signs in the days leading up to her birth have shown her family that God’s plan was fulfilled just the way it was always intended. Watching The Great Forest Park hot air balloon glow from the hospital window just hours after her passing will be a moment her family cherishes forever.
She is survived by her parents, her brother, Noah James Renner; her aunt, Ruth Ziegler; her grandparents, David and Sarah Ziegler and Mark and Angela Renner; several of her great-grandparents; and many great-aunts and great-uncles and other loving family members.

Visitation: A private visitation will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood, Missouri for family and close friends with a service directly following, and an immediate family only burial ceremony will be in the afternoon.
