Stanley Burton

Stanley L. Burton age 62 departed this life on Wednesday October 2, 2013 at Jerseyville Manor.  He was the son of Charity (Little) Burton of Alton and the late Willie O. Burton Sr. He was a graduate of Alton High School and attended San Francisco State College.  He was formerly married to Lydia Sweatt and Kathleen  Stewart. They survive.He is survived by his 4 children Stanley (Cherie) Burton Jr.  of Shenzen, China, Chrysta of Los Angeles, CA; Jenera Burton  and Wesley (Lucretia) Burton of Oakland, CA; 6 grandchildren, 2 brothers Cecil (Rosa) Burton of Alton; and Ronald (Seble) Burton of Atlanta, GA; 1 sister Lois Logan of Memphis, TN;  aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.In addition to his father he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Alan and Willie O.
